ABSTRACT Trauma is one of the leading causes of death in young adults and children. Among the exogenous factors leading to trauma-related mortality are damage occurring within the first hour, and causes secondary to resuscitation and surgery. As a result of the experiences gained, the concept of the 'golden hour' emerged, which defines the period in which life can be saved with appropriate medical intervention in the early stages of trauma. Significant progress has been made with the contribution of developing technology and advanced imaging methods in order to evaluate gold watches correctly.
