Dear colleagues, With this issue we mark the 2nd anniversary of JMS! We are celebrating 2 years of open Access publication. We are excited about all that we have achieved in that time to better serve research and the research community. We continuously tried to improve our author services and the quality of our publishing and we are looking forward to the future. It is true that serving as editors takes dedication, time, and passion.Regardless of the discipline, editors can learn a lot from one another’s successes. In any way it was not an easy task, but we are proud of presenting our readers the most interesting and valuable topics just that the one we have as our invited review. This review is about a considerably new field which we hope we will raise awareness about. It undertakes the issue of “forensic nursing science”, a field that we hope will develop and be accredited in our country too. We hope that you will enjoy reading it. Lastly, we would like to thank all our authors, reviewers and readers for their support in these two years.
