ARTICLE Cluster Analysis and Audiogram Configurations in Sensorineural Hearing Loss
ABSTRACT
Aim: This study aimed to investigate the prevalence of audiogram configurations in adult patients with sensorineural hearing loss reporting hearing problems by cluster analysis.
Materials and Methods: Our study included 97 adult patients who applied to the ENT outpatient clinic of a private hospital with hearing loss and had sensorineural hearing loss determined by pure tone audiometry. The patients' right ear air conduction thresholds were taken as the basis and audiological data were measured by the same device and the same audiometrist. Configuration types were categorized according to pure-tone hearing thresholds.
