ABSTRACT This study investigates the application stages of current techniques in the production of maxillofacial prostheses. The application areas of computer-aided design and production in dentistry have expanded considerably in recent years. The compilation is organized as a summary of rapid prototyping production techniques, digital impression-taking, and virtual modeling and design.
