ARTICLE New Developments in The Diagnosis and Treatment of Molar Incisor Hypomineralization in Children
ABSTRACT The term Molar Incisor Hipomineralization (MIH) is used to describe enamel hypomineralization of developmental origin occuring in the permanent molars, frequently in association with affected incisors. In recently years, diagnostic criteria for MIH have also been observed in the second primary molar teeth and these teeth have been thought to be an indicator for MIH in later years.
