ABSTRACT Aim: This study analyzes the film My Grandfather’s People from the perspective of transgenerational trauma. The main objective of the research is to reveal, through the film’s narrative and visual elements, the psychological mechanisms by which trauma originating from forced migration is transmitted from the first generation (the grandfather) to the third generation (the grandson).
