ABSTRACT Cerebral palsy (CP) is a symptom complex, particularly of movement and posture disorders, which are often accompanied by musculoskeletal and neurological problems. The incidence of CP in term babies varies between 1.0 and 1.7 per 1000 live births. There are more medical malpractice lawsuits in Turkey in the field of obstetrics and gynecology (16.82%) than in any other field of medicine.
