ARTICLE TRAIL and Diabetes
ABSTRACT Diabetes, which is characterized by increased blood glucose levels, occurs as a result of the dysfunction in the pancreas, and result in resistance to insulin activity or reduced insulin production. Diabetes is examined in two groups as Type-I and Type-II. Type-I diabetes develops as a result of insufficient insulin hormone released from the beta-cells in the pancreas.
